Is Global Village open right now?

Most pages about Global Village describe it as though it were always there. It is not. It is a seasonal event with a long closure every year, and whether it is open is the only thing worth checking before you build an evening around it.

Right now

Global Village is between seasons — closed until the next season opens. The next one is Season 31, and the operator gives its opening as 14 October 2026, running to May 2027.

That is the whole answer. If your trip ends before that day, the gates are shut and no ticket seller can change it.

What the date does and does not settle

At our previous check, on 16 September, the operator gave only a month. It now gives a day, which is firm enough to plan a trip around. Two things are still missing, and both matter for the first week:

• Daily hours. The site does not show them for the new season yet, so an opening-week evening cannot be timed from the operator’s own page
• Tickets. The site says Season 31 tickets will be available later this year, so the operator itself is not selling them yet

A published day can still move, which is why this page is re-checked on the opening day itself rather than on a fixed cycle.

Miracle Garden has the same problem, and publishes less

Dubai’s other headline outdoor attraction runs on the same logic. Miracle Garden is seasonal, and the garden does not publish its opening and closing dates in advance.

That is worth stating plainly because it is unusual: the garden tells visitors to check the schedule but does not put the schedule where a visitor can read it in advance. So no dates appear on this page either. Any site giving you exact Miracle Garden opening and closing dates is not reading them off the garden’s own pages.

What the garden does state is operational rather than seasonal:

The re-entry rule catches people out more than the hours do. It means you cannot step out to a car for a jacket once the evening cools and come back on the same ticket.

Why both close

Both are open-air, and both shut across the hottest part of the year. That is the underlying reason the seasons exist, and it is why a Dubai itinerary built from an undated “top attractions” list falls apart in summer — the two biggest outdoor names on that list are simply not operating.

This is the practical consequence: in the closed months, the attractions that stay open are the indoor ones, and they run on ordinary daily hours rather than seasons. They are also the ones you can actually hold a booking for right now.

What this page does not tell you

It does not give ticket prices for either place. Neither operator puts a price in a page we can read and confirm — the figures are rendered by their booking widgets — so quoting one here would mean copying a number we did not verify. Getting there is not covered either: see what gets added to a taxi fare and which nol card to buy.

It does not give daily hours for the new Global Village season or any date at all for Miracle Garden, because neither has been published. Global Village’s opening day was added here at the first check that found it on the operator’s site, and the change is logged below. The rest will be handled the same way.
